Doctor Sadaf is 29 years old. She is part of Merlin’s mobile medical team in the Nowshera region of Pakistan and has been working in Jalozai camp for about a year.
“I am a doctor because I have only ever wanted to treat people. These are my people. . We drove through water, abandoning the car to get here. I am tired -we are all tired. But we don’t stop: people need us. We are here to treat, heal and counsel. I could not turn my back and I will not.”
